Our client, Bermuda Commercial Bank (BCB), has been committed to providing innovative and effective banking solutions to their customers since 1969. An exciting opportunity exists to join the team as the Head of Human Resources reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and working closely with the Executive Committee, Senior Leaders and Board Governance Committee. This role is pivotal in aligning culture, capability, and structure to business objectives and the successful candidate will be a strategic partner to executive leadership, driving organisational performance through people-centred strategies. Through relational leadership and data-informed decision-making, the Head of HR will champion employee engagement, HR internal controls, and inclusiveness. Primary Ares of Responsibility Include: Strategic Leadership & Alignment, Culture & Engagement, Talent Development & Training, Employee Relations, Operations & Compliance, Compensation & Rewards. Desired Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree and/or professional HR accreditation (PHR, SPHR, or CHRP preferred). Minimum 10 years of progressive HR and/or organizational leadership experience, with proven strategic impact. Experience in the financial services industry is advantageous but not essential. Strong grasp of decision-making frameworks and tools (ie OKR's) Relational leadership qualities - ability to influence through trust, strong communication and ethical decision making. Proven record of shaping organizational culture, workforce strategies, and stakeholder engagement. Advanced analytical, communication, and facilitation skills Proven track record as a strategic thinker and effective implementer Solid understanding of Bermuda employment law, immigration, and compliance frameworks, including PIPA.
