Our client, AP Marine Ltd. is seeking applications for the position of Marine & Automotive Technician to maintain and repair all mechanical marine and automotive electrical and mechanical equipment of clients’ boats and vehicles. Key Duties and Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance according to manufacturer’s recommendations, maintaining and repairing hydraulic and mechanical systems, inspecting and troubleshooting engines, completing electronic repairs and installations on marine engines, repairing and maintaining generators, marine heads/toilets, and electrical and mechanical pumps, as well as general aesthetic maintenance on boats including waxing, polishing, painting, and small fiberglass repairs.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Experience include a high school graduation certificate, City and Guilds or Marine Technician Certification, and a minimum of five (5) years in a similar position. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and within a team environment, and should be dependable with a strong work ethic.
