Working Foreman: Applicants must have 5 to 7 years' proven experience in both residential and commercial construction and be able to demonstrate the following: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and determine specifications and estimate relevant materials required for each project. Have proven experience in liaising with general contractors, sub-contractors and vendors. Ability to lay out, plan ahead and organize job site tasks and responsibilities. Participates in developing the project's concept, oversees its planning and implements. Have the ability to monitor the work and ensure jobs run smoothly and the project is meeting daily goals. Be reliable, confident and decisive with high degree of self motivation. Must have relevant masonry tools to meet strict time schedules. The below Applicants must have 5 years' proven experience in both residential and commercial construction, with a high degree of self-motivation and excellent time management and reliability. Carpenter(s): Must have the ability to work from plans to finished products on custom furniture, cabinets, staircases, details, doors etc. including repairs to the same. Must have full knowledge of all hand tools and shop machinery and be meticulously neat on any completed project. Marble/Tile Specialist(s): Proven work experience in installing all aspects of marble and tile, including but not limited to: ceramic, porcelain, natural stone with proven ability to work on multiple projects and remodelling projects. Must be able to assess the area and prepare the surface accordingly. This involves cleaning, leveling, and smoothing the surface and removing existing materials so that the area is clear of obstructions. Taking accurate measurements, determining the layout, marking guidelines and creating reference points. Be able to use specialized tools, equipment and techniques to ensure a high-quality finish. The position does require precision and attention to detail, skilled at grouting to achieve a smooth and even surface as to not detract from the overall appearance of the installation.

Requirements

Candidates should be physically fit as considerable lifting of heavy materials with much bending is required. A willingness to work extended hours on weekdays, weekends and overtime when required at short notice. Must have own transportation or a willingness to obtain the same. Interested applicants must possess a proven record of integrity and excellent work references related to the position applied for, as all references will be verified.
