Programme Manager

On behalf of our client, Bermuda Education Network (BEN), We are seeking a creative, dynamic, and highly organized Programme Manager to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of BEN's school-year programmes, including the Horizons Programme and the BEN Book Club. The Programme Manager will also oversee teacher training initiatives and awards, and support for struggling readers– key pillars of BEN's mission. Key Responsibilities Programme Delivery & Coordination Plan and manage the annual schedule for BEN programmes. Coordinate transport and logistics for Horizons expeditions. Co-teach Horizons expeditions where needed. Supervise and liaise with programme delivery partners. Supervise the team of Network Teachers responsible for content creation for Horizons Themed Units, Workshops and BEN Book Club events Recruit and coordinate volunteers. Supervise enrolment of students for all programmes including the Summer Programmme led by BEN's Reading Team. Support the Reading Team with monitoring success of literacy interventions. Stakeholder Engagement Maintain strong relationships with principals, teachers and parents. Lead the collaboration with Horizons partners. Coordinate with Network Teachers supporting BEN programmes. Organize teacher workshops and focus groups and co-ordinate the expansion of the Horizons Programme curriculum Liaison with overseas consultants supporting a research project to enhance BEN's programmes Monitoring & Evaluation Lead the tracking and reporting of programme impact across BEN's three strategic goals. Develop and use appropriate tools and metrics to evaluate programme outcomes and drive continuous improvement. Teacher Training Design and manage professional development initiatives for educators, ensuring alignment with BEN's mission. Facilitate workshops and support capacity-building among teaching staff. Administrative & Operational Duties Budget oversight and financial controls for programme budgets. Manage accounts payable processes. Support marketing and communication for the Horizons programme. Assist the Awards Committee with the coordination of the annual Outstanding Teacher Award. Qualifications Master's degree in Education Qualified Teacher Status Minimum of four years' classroom teaching experience at elementary level Required Skills & Attributes Experience working with diverse education populations including students with special needs. Ability to earn trust and buy-in from school leaders and classroom teachers. Knowledgeable and passionate about children's books, literacy development, reading interventions, professional development design, and educational evaluation. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage adult team members. Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style. Proven track record in project management and able to manage multiple responsibilities and stakeholders. Creative problem-solving and adaptive thinking. Independent, intellectually curious, and aligned with BEN's mission. Friendly, persuasive, and able to thrive in a small team environment.

Requirements

Master's degree in Education. Qualified Teacher Status. Minimum of four years' classroom teaching experience at elementary level.Experience working with diverse education populations including students with special needs. Knowledgeable and passionate about children's books, literacy development, reading interventions, professional development design, and educational evaluation. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage adult team members. Proven track record in project management
