Early Intervention Supervisor

The post-holder works under the direction of the Coordinator of the Child Development Programme (CDP) to manage, supervise and implement the Early Intervention Service, a home-based early intervention service for children and their families with developmental delays and/or social-emotional/adaptive behaviour concerns. This includes assessing and monitoring the needs of the families referred for early intervention, education and support where required. The post-holder will coordinate and organize group parent education related to development and early intervention and also consults and collaborates with relevant professionals as necessary.

Requirements

Must have a Master's Degree or equivalent in Special Education, Child Development, Psychology or a related field. A minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience working with families with young children. Supervisory experience is essential. Special consideration for applicants who have experience or credentials working with families birth to four years.
