YOUTH AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OFFICER

Under the direction of the coordinator, the post holder is accountable for the delivery of recruitment and enrolment services in accordance with the programme and Ministry goals and objectives. The post holder is responsible for the daily operations and growth of the volunteer programme, including recruitment, enrolment, management, and supervision of volunteers. In addition to establishing community supports. The post holder is responsible for the daily operations and growth of client enrolment processes, including recruitment, management, and supervision of the volunteer enrolment team. The post holder is also responsible for the recruitment of clients for each cycle of programming including the management and maintenance of client and volunteer databases. The post holder communicates with the public and key stakeholders regarding youth enrolment and volunteer opportunities.

Requirements

Tertiary educational experience with some knowledge of and experience with marketing and sales techniques in addition to 5 years of related work experience preferably in recruitment services, community engagement, project management or human services. The post holder should possess a bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Project Management or Human Services related field or equivalent.
