General Maintenance Technician/Carpenter

We are actively seeking an energetic and highly motivated qualified hands on carpenter. The carpenter will report to The Director of Facilities. Responding to all daily guest rooms, house and dormitory maintenance requests You'll be responsible for performing high quality carpentry work, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of wooden structures, fumiture and fixtures throughout the hotel Design and build custom pieces tailored to our hotel spaces from guest rooms to public areas ensuring our design vision comes to life with precision Conduct regular inspections to identify wear and tear fixing doors, windows, fumiture to ensure everything is in excellent condition for our guests Contribute to the guest experience by ensuring our woodwork and fixtures are not only beautiful but safe Always adhering to safety guidelines, keeping your work area organized and maintaining a safe environment for everyone on the property Minimum of five years experience as a certified carpenter is required Must have a journey man carpentry trade certification A demonstrated knowledge and skills of building systems Previous experience working in a carpentry business, hotel or other multi facility building required
