Landscape Gardener/Handyperson

Island Properties is seeking an experienced Landscaper/Gardner/Handyperson to join our team. The applicant must be willing to work from 8am until 5pm Monday to Saturday. (Overtime will be paid for Saturday). This job requires the complete maintenance of the grounds and buildings on properties owned or managed by the company, as well as helping to facilitate the unloading of deliveries to the properties. The applicant must have experience in painting, general upkeep of buildings and swimming pools and landscaping of grounds and gardens, as this job entails the care of citrus, cultivation of a vegetable garden and a putting green. A rigid spraying and fertilizing program must be maintained. The applicant must also be comfortable around animals. Experience in routine maintenance of mechanical gardening equipment is required. The successful applicant must be reliable, punctual, courteous, and capable of working on their own initiative.

Requirements

Five years' experience in a similar role is required. Two written references that can speak to the work experience in a similar position are required.
