Portfolio Management Systems Developer

On behalf of my client Group Ark Insurance Limited we invite interest for this newly created Bermuda-based role. Reporting to the Senior Developer & Technical Lead based on island, this position will collaborate closely with modelers and underwriters to understand their requirements and translate them into effective portfolio management tools. The preferred candidate will have: A Bachelor's or higher degree in a relevant field. Reinsurance industry experience working as a Full Stack developer would be advantageous - with proficiency in both front-end and back-end development. Web development for corporate applications experience is essential. Proven experience using C#, Power BI, and SQL. Preference will be given to applicants with professional certifications and working knowledge of Python or Julia programming languages. Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving experience relevant to the role with the ability to extract insights from complex data sets. Strong experience in integrating back-end systems with third-party vendor products through APIs. Proven experience working with a collaborative and agile team, leveraging issue tracking, source control, and CI/CD workflows, with full traceability between requirements and code. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with modelers, underwriters, and cross-functional teams.
