SR. PROJECT MANAGER – SECURITY

We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the post of Senior Project Manager – Security Systems. The candidate must have a logical aptitude, creative talent & outstanding professionalism to perform and execute all aspects of the PM’s diverse mandate. More importantly, the individual must also possess a keen sense of Customer Service while building strong working relationships with our valued clients. Persons who are exceptionally organized, self-driven and hold high regard for a strong work ethic will be well suited for this position. Within your role you will provide full-cycle Project Management executing all facets of programming, installing & maintaining an array of security systems and security related devices. You will also be involved in the design and engineering of security solutions and act as a sales support engineer. The successful candidate will be confidential & highly skilled with a keen interest in technology & innovation and will continuously develop to stay current. Key Duties and Responsibilities include full-cycle Project Management for complex & highly confidential Security projects including managing project budgets, change orders, procurement and materials management, system configurations & commissioning, drawings/diagrams, project documentation & handover; manage the Technical Team for installation and maintenance of security devices; ensure adherence to industry standards & Company Health & Safety regulations; provide Technical Sales Support for designing & engineering security solutions; act as Site Lead and respond to service calls; perform on-the-job training and mentoring; and work outside normal business hours as needed.

Requirements

Tertiary education with background in Electronics/Computer Sciences preferred. Minimum 6 years of industry experience with 3 years in project management. Strong written and verbal communication skills with special attention to customer service and confidentiality. Physically fit to lift 60 pounds or more, climb ladders, scaffolding & work at heights. CCNA, Network+ or other related network training is beneficial.
