Senior/Assistant Manager, Markets

Senior/Assistant Manager, Markets is responsible for executing an integrated marketing strategy that aligns with the firm's overarching goals and objectives. This role is crucial in supporting various business areas, including functions and industry sectors, by implementing targeted marketing initiatives. The position will play a key role in fostering and maintaining trust with Clients and Markets, ensuring that the firm's clients and market strategy is effectively executed at KPMG in Bermuda and supports the wider KPMG Island's Group (KIG) marketing strategy. This role requires a proactive approach to support and share brand best practices, ensuring consistency and excellence in brand representation. Role and responsibilities: Assist with the execution of all elements (Assistant Manager)/ assigned elements (Senior) of an integrated marketing plan aligned to business objectives, including collateral, advertising, digital content and marketing. Work with Manager/Senior Manager/Director, Markets, Service Lead(s) and Sector Lead(s) to execute plan strategy into the business. Conceptualize, plan, execute, and report on campaigns. Participate in proposal and pursuit opportunities content and design support. Gather relevant KPIs and ROI information to measure campaign effectiveness, media awareness, and lead generation, as appropriate. Execute and track issues-based, sector specific campaigns to build image, drive differentiation and generate sales leads. Ensure sharing of information, knowledge and leading brand best practices across the industries, functions, and geographies. Develop and execute a defined content strategy across sector/segments, maintaining industry specific content; ensuring timeliness of industry-specific content is market ready and up to date. Aggregate the best client-centric marketing materials (meeting documents, presentations, etc.) that are utilized by Global and KIG and share across Markets team to share leading practices. Work closely with the Senior Events Coordinator to drive business development events. Proactively and regularly update the Markets lead and business partners on project status. Look for and provide recommendations on process improvements. Develop and maintain exceptional knowledge of firm standards and brand compliance. Establish and develop a strong network - within our local market and across the broader KPMG network. Stay informed and up to date on relevant industry issues. Act as an advisor to other team members and those from other business units. Provide oversight to interns, contractors or suppliers as required (Assistant Manager) Candidates must have the following qualifications, skills and attributes: 2 (Senior) or 3+ (Assistant Manager) years' marketing experience, with demonstrated ability to operate in a partnership or highly matrixed culture. Degree in business, marketing, or related discipline. Highly motivated team player demonstrating curiosity, proactivity, and a positive attitude. Proficient in graphic design and digital marketing, including software such as SharePoint, Dynamics/Salesforce, Microsoft, Canva, and Adobe suite of products (InDesign is a plus). Excellent writing, presentation, and project execution skills; photography and/or videography skills preferred. Keen attention to detail and proven ability to work on a range of projects simultaneously, while producing quality deliverables within set deadlines. Demonstrated commitment to mentoring and developing staff (Assistant Manager). Depth in either the Financial Services Industry or a mid-sized Enterprise Market is an asset-working knowledge and understanding of business-to-business marketing, strategic positioning, thought leadership, and relationship development in a professional services context. Proven experience analyzing and drawing insights from external research studies and business data. Prior client service delivery experience is an advantage.
