Senior Digital & Broadcast News Reporter

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment delivering news that matters? Join our dynamic News team as a Senior Digital & Broadcast News Reporter and help shape the stories that inform Bermuda. We're looking for a driven journalist who can deliver hard news across web, social media, radio, and television with speed, accuracy, and authority. Key Responsibilities: Cover hard news such as politics, crime, court, and breaking events. Create compelling content for digital platforms, including social media. Report live, often at short notice, with confidence and professionalism. Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Use video, audio, and online tools to enhance storytelling and reach wider audiences. Requirements: A Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field. A minimum 5 years' experience in a professional newsroom. Strong digital skills and proven social media engagement. On-camera presence and live reporting experience (TV/web clips required). Radio news experience and excellent interviewing, research, and writing skills. Sound editorial judgement and understanding of media law. Familiarity with editing software like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, or Sony Vegas Pro. Additional Information: Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
