Welder Fabricator

Cut and join metals and other materials at our facilities or job sites as instructed. Operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Key Duties and Responsibilities include reading blueprints, determining the appropriate welding method, setting up components for welding, operating angle grinders, aligning components, welding, repairing machinery, testing and inspecting surfaces, and maintaining equipment. Requires professional certification, proven experience in welding, familiarity with common welding tools, ability to read technical documents, and knowledge of safety standards.

Requirements

Professional Certification (e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus; Proven experience as welder; Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding, TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals; Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.); Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings; Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
