Produce Manager

Produce Manager with a minimum of 5 years-experience in all aspects of produce management including ordering, costing, pricing, off-loading containers including lifting 50+ lbs cases, management and scheduling of staff, assuring food and work safety, merchandising and shelf replenishment. You should have well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy working in a challenging and physically demanding retail environment. Applicant must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of Products, specifically Microsoft Excel. The ability to display produce creatively is essential. An ability to function effectively as a leader of a team is a must. Applicants must be hard working and self-motivated. This position requires the best customer service skills and the applicant must be courteous and friendly. The successful applicant will be required to work on some Sundays and public holidays. References are required. Qualified Butchers With a minimum of 5 years experience in all aspects of meat preparation - frozen and particularly fresh meat. The successful candidates must also be skilled in using all related electrical equipment and possess certification in food safety fundamentals. In addition, knowledge of fresh fish would be an asset. Applicants must be neat in appearance, hard-working, self-motivated and must maintain a high level of sanitation and safety. Applicants must be willing and able to lift 60+lb cases of meat. As this position requires customer service, the applicants must also be courteous, friendly and punctual. Qualified Chef with a minimum of 5 years-experience in all aspects of cooking management including inventory control, ordering, costing/pricing, menu planning, staff training and assuring food and work safety. The applicant will be expected to work in conjunction with the deli manager, must be neat in appearance, hard-working, and self-motivated. Proven experience in Bermudian, European and Asian cuisine is a must. This position requires the best customer service skills and the applicant must be courteous, friendly and punctual.
