Executive Sous Chef

Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for directing and training of culinary staff and all other kitchen workers. This position demands creativity and the ability to maintain the highest h culinary standards. Ability to work split shifts, evenings and weekends seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and experienced will oversee all housekeeping operations, ensuring that and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet the hotel's high Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervise and coordinate activities of housekeeping staff across guest rooms and public areas Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and quality Recruitment, training and continuous development of staff Purchasing and inventory controls of all housekeeping and laundry supplies and equipment Inspect rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality Preparation and monitoring of budgets, payroll and capital Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency Monitor and maintain compliance with health and safety Work closely with the front office and maintenance teams Manage departmental budgets and labor costs effectively Act as Manager on Duty Minimum of 3 years' experience within a four- or five-star establishment, Preference will be given to candidates with housekeeping management experience in a multi complex (condominium) establishment High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality degree preferred) Working knowledge of all other departmental hotel operations Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards Proven track record of organizational skills, forward thinking, excellent time management and the ability to plan and direct the daily operations of a busy department Ability to work with property management system/computers Strong Excel skills Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling Willingness to work split shifts, evenings, weekends and public This is a physically demanding position, as it requires daily inspection of all public areas, guest rooms, and owner units on a 7 acre property with challenging topography Please E-mail your resume and a written cover letter to Please include at least two character and employment references Azura Bermuda like other establishments in Bermuda has a 'Drugs and Alcohol Don't Work Here Policy and is an equal opportunity employer.
