Aon Insurance Managers (AIM) is seeking to employ a Vice President for the Captive Management Division for a diverse team of professionals dedicated to providing the best service to their re/insurance clients. The Vice President has responsibility over product quality assurance standards and ensuring growth and profit targets are met.

Requirements

An undergraduate degree together with an accounting designation (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, FCCA). An insurance designation (ARM, CPCU, ACII, CIU) would be beneficial. A minimum of eight years of recent insurance management experience with a captive/insurance manager or other insurance related firm. Strong financial reporting and analytical skills. Detailed understanding of risk transfer concepts and a comprehensive understanding of Bermuda regulations pertaining to captives. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills in relationship building for business development and retention in the international insurance arena. Excellent organization and prioritization skills to ensure accurate results are produced and reported by target dates; may require working evenings and weekends. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Strong digital literacy and skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Software, such as Excel and Word and familiarity with insurance-based accounting systems. In depth understanding of Captives, Business Plans, Risk management strategies and differentiators between Limited Purpose and Solvency II regimes. Proven understanding of MS Dynamics and SICS reinsurance system would be advantageous.
