Resolution Life is hiring a We are offering a role within the Operations team of Resolution's reinsurance business, that will be part of the Reinsurance Operations group. The candidate will be a critical member of a small team, tasked with supporting both the growing new business, Flow Reinsurance within the Resolution Group, as well as existing and future Reinsurance Blocks of business. The role will be integral to the execution of reinsurance transactions by managing the end-to-end new business integration process and overseeing ongoing relationship management. In parallel, the candidate will work on wider operations initiatives, especially with the advancement of Resolution's technology stack, to support and create efficiencies across the business.This is a varied role, reporting functionally to the Head of Reinsurance Operations, that will require management and oversight of the day-to-day management of reinsurance treaties, as well as onboarding and integration of new transactions from an operational point of view. The role will have a strong focus on client relationship building and will work with all levels of seniority throughout the Company, including with senior management, on this key growth area for Resolution Life.Oversight of the day-to-day administration of the treaties, client relationship management and general operational functions of the Reinsurance team.Implementation of effective processes and controls to ensure compliance with treaty requirements, including tracking and monitoring of regular reporting.Oversee the onboarding of new business transactions, working on most efficient integration to existing BAU processes.Liaise with actuarial, finance, treasury, investments and risk on all aspects of the business, supporting various functions where needed.Support existing legacy reinsurance business, as needed.Work closely with the technology team to develop effective integration of new and existing business to the tech stack.Work with Resolution Life's technology team to develop scalable solutions for continuous workflow management, including managing a tech squad, building out applications that will create efficiencies across various functions.Other duties, as required.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar area and/or qualified Accountant or Actuary.Minimum of 5 years of relevant Reinsurance, Finance and Operations experience, preferably in the Life and Annuity sector.Strong management skills with a collaborative outlook.Ability to navigate cross-functional teams across various jurisdictions.An ability to handle client interactions with appropriate cultural sensitivity and professionalism.Knowledge of technological solutions available for data processing, including coding skills, would be a benefit.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to be flexible and adaptable for a fast-paced company.Self-motivation and initiative are required, as well as excellent communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or similar area and/or qualified Accountant or Actuary.
