We are seeking a reliable and flexible individual to join our team as a Kitchen Porter (Relief) and Housekeeping Assistant in our 30-bed nursing home. The successful candidate will primarily work as a Housekeeping Assistant, ensuring the home is kept clean, safe, and comfortable for our residents. In addition, they must be willing and available to cover Kitchen Porter duties as relief when needed, supporting the kitchen team with cleaning, basic food preparation, and maintaining hygiene standards. This dual-role position requires someone who is adaptable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a caring and supportive team.

Requirements

Previous experience in a kitchen or housekeeping role preferred but not essential; A positive, hardworking attitude; Ability to work as part of a team; Good time management and attention to detail; Willingness to undergo mandatory training (infection control, food hygiene, etc.)
