Live In/live Out Caregiver/Housekeeper

Job Type: Permanent

Primary duties will involve all aspects of daily support for a busy family, including acting as primary caregiver and companion for a senior with dementia, daily assistance with the families two school aged children, maintaining general housekeeping such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, meal preparation, and grocery shopping. Responsibilities will also include the general care of the family dog. The successful applicant will possess 5 years' experience caring for children and seniors in a busy home environment, must be caring, responsible, energetic, reliable and a non-smoker, will hold/be willing to obtain a valid Bermuda car license, assist with light farm duties/chores, and undertake other ad hoc tasks as assigned. A clear criminal record, passion for children, seniors and animals plus excellent references are also required. Work Schedule: This live-in role involves 16 active care hours per week, on a fluctuating, non-traditional schedule, including days/nights and weekends. Availability at short notice is essential.

Requirements

5 years' experience caring for children, caring, responsible, energetic, reliable and a non-smoker, CPR certificate, clear criminal record and excellent references. Minimum 4 years' professional experience with both elderly (including dementia and challenging behaviors) AND children (ages 5+).
