Requirements
Having at least 5 years post apprenticeship work experience as an auto mechanic, auto service technician, heavy equipment mechanic or in a likely similar role. Duties will include but are not limited to inspecting and repairing engines and other mechanical components of automobiles and determining estimates of repair costs. Must be considered an expert and comfortable with all types of engines, automatic/manual gearboxes, car, van and bus experience including diesel and fuel injection, computerized diagnostic and electronic engine management systems and electrical repairs and expertise with the standard tools. Applicants with certificates and or a diploma in automotive technology will be favorably considered.Salary
