Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
- Take high-quality intraoral and Panorex radiographs
- Support procedures including restorative dentistry, crowns and bridges, root canal therapy, Invisalign, implants, periodontal procedures, surgical extractions, and removable prosthetics
- Maintain proper infection control and sterilization protocols
- Help create a welcoming and comfortable experience for patients of all ages
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Work efficiently with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience preferred
- Ability to take intraoral and Panorex x-rays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, caring, and professional with children and adults
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with others
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn and grow within the practice
