Bermuda Waterworks Limited is the leading producer of drinking water using reverse osmosis and desalination technologies. Our utility division operates a piped water distribution system supplying Watlington Water to over 3,000 metered customers. With a commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, we play a critical role in supporting the island's infrastructure and growth. As we expand and evolve, we are seeking motivated and capable Engineers to join our Utility Water Division. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, the Water Engineers support the planning, operation, and maintenance of utility infrastructure and systems. This hands-on role offers exposure to a range of engineering activities and the opportunity to gain experience in specialized areas such as water treatment, distribution systems, and capital project delivery. We are looking for adaptable problem-solvers who are eager to learn and grow within a dynamic team. Key Responsibilities * Support the operation and maintenance of utility infrastructure, including production equipment and distribution systems. * Assist with capital improvement projects and the implementation of preventative maintenance programmes. * Monitor system performance, conduct field inspections, and maintain accurate operational records. * Participate in quality control, health and safety practices, and environmental compliance. * Analyze data and operating trends using relevant tools and software. * Respond to technical issues and contribute to problem-solving and system optimization. * Provide engineering support for operations and projects as required. Preferred Qualifications and Experience * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental or related discipline). * Candidates ranging from senior engineers to engineering graduates are invited to apply. * Experience in industrial engineering, pipeline construction, water treatment plants, hydrogeology or utilities environment is preferred but not required. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed. * Valid driver's license (or willingness to obtain) for site access and operational support. * A positive attitude and ability to take on a wide range of technical tasks.
