The Bermuda Gymnastics Association (BGA) is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Recreational Gymnastics Program Coordinator and Coach. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to lead, coach, and coordinate gymnastics activities for participants of all ages and skill levels, ranging from crawling toddlers to adults, including competitive level up to USAG Xcel Gold. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our recreational program, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment, and coordinating various gymnastics events and activities. This role requires a very flexible schedule, including regular afternoon/evening hours (2-7pm) and Saturdays (8-3pm) during term-time, and a commitment to work during most school holidays to run camps.
Requirements
Relevant USAG coaching certification (or equivalent); Minimum 2 years' experience in similar role; Ability to safely coach athletes up to USAG Xcel Gold; High proficiency in computer applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Canva, and social media; Access to reliable transportation is required for travel between locations; Willingness and ability to work most evenings and weekends and run camps during school holidays; SCARS certified or willingness to obtain.
