We are looking for a technical Commerical Laundry Service Technician to assist our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of commerical laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, ironing machines (flatwork ironers/mangles), and towel folders. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, with mechanical expertise and a commitment to provide exceptional service. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair commercial laundry equipment Conduct routine inspections and perform planned preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance Clearly communicate technical diagnosis and repair information to management Install new commercial laundry machines and systems, enuring they operate safely and efficiently Maintain accurate service records and manage inventory of parts used for repairs Adhere to all health and safety regulations and industry standards Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience of at least 2 years working with and repairing commercial laundry equipment would be an asset Certification in appliance repair Possess mechanical troubleshooting skills Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to mechanical work and appliances Ability to look up and identify parts needed to execute repairs Ability to lift heavy objects (minimum 50lbs), push large appliances and stand for extended periods

Requirements

Proven experience of at least 2 years working with and repairing commercial laundry equipment would be an asset Certification in appliance repair Possess mechanical troubleshooting skills Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to mechanical work and appliances Ability to look up and identify parts needed to execute repairs Ability to lift heavy objects (minimum 50lbs), push large appliances and stand for extended periods
