Requirements
A certification in caregiving with a minimum 3-year experience in a similar position. A current CPR certification. Must have English as a first language or if asked by the employer, English Proficiency results with achievement in MELAB, IELTS or TOEFL. Must report daily on clients’ progress and needs. Bermuda Health Council registration is needed within 4 weeks of hire. All positions must have at least two recent satisfactory employment references, valid police background check, and need to maintain a Bermuda driving license within the first 4 weeks of employment. The candidate must be able to work under stressful conditions, stand for long periods at heights, lift persons and materials, and perform other activities related to the role. The successful candidate has to be able to work both as a live-out or a live-in based on the clients’ requirements. Night, weekends, religious and national holidays, and short-notice assignments are required in both a live-in and live-out setting.
