Our client, AP Marine Ltd., is seeking applications for the position of Marine & Automotive Technician to maintain and repair all mechanical automotive and electrical equipment of client's boats and engines. Key Responsibiliies Include: • Perform routine maintenance according to manufacturer's recommendations; • Maintain and repair hydraulic and mechanical steering systems; • Inspect and troubleshoot engines as required; • Complete electronic repairs and installations on marine engines; • Complete repairs and maintenance on land and marine generators; • Maintain and repair marine heads / toilets; • Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical pumps; • Perform general aesthetic maintenance on boats, i.e., waxing, polishing, painting and small fiberglass repairs. Minimum Qualifications, Skills and Experience: • Certification in Marine Engineering • Minimum of 3 years of Marine Engineering experience • Experience in engine servicing, installation and fabrication • Knowledge and experience with hydraulics an asset • Able to work with minimum supervision The successful candidate must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required.
