Our client, A&M Construction Ltd., is currently seeking a Top Grade Mason. The successful candidate will be highly proficient in all aspects of masonry, be reliable, dependable, a self-starter and possess excellent time management skills. Responsibilities will include calculating angles and courses, and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses of all sizes of block, building and positioning forms for pouring concrete, building and erecting stone columns/face slate/buttresses and buttery roofs, laying brick for driveways/chimneys, and all other masonry procedures. The individuals must also have basic understanding of blueprints and drawings to determine specifications and to calculate the materials required and must possess the ability to set steel and rebar. Minimum Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience: • 5 years of continuous experience in full masonry tasks and residential construction. • Track record of excellent masonry work. • Valid driver's license and own transportation. • Willingness and ability to work overtime when required. Applicants will be required to provide 2 written professional references to demonstrate the above requirements.
