Sous Chef

We are looking for a professional Sous Chef for our kitchen. The successful applicant will assist the Head Chef with the daily operation of the kitchen. Key Duties include cooking and preparing high quality meals, assisting the Head Chef/Manager to create menu items and develop dishes, supervising all kitchen stations, preparing catering orders, ensuring food quality, managing inventory needs, maintaining work equipment, and ensuring kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Must have 3 years prior experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen, High school diploma or GED, knowledge of various cooking methods and cuisines, excellent knife skills, supervisory skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, computer proficiency, exceptional interpersonal skills, ability to lift at least 50lbs, and a positive attitude.
