Maintenance Handyman

The Royal Palms Hotel is a small 32 room boutique hotel that is seeking a hardworking hands-on individual who is willing to commit to the expectations and values of our company. This position requires a broad range of maintenance skills and trouble-shooting ability in the maintenance of a small but complex hotel. The property comprises of two 19th century manor houses and associated buildings which must be maintained to the highest industry standards from the water tank to the roof.

Requirements

At least 5 years’ experience required in a similar position. Good knowledge of electrical and plumbing is required; HVAC would be an asset. Candidate must have a pleasant personality, neat appearance and a non smoker as interaction with guests is required. Ability to clearly communicate both verbally and written. Ability to work within a small team as well as on own initiative. Must have a clean valid Bermuda drivers license. Ability to work flexible hours to include weekends, holidays, and overnight duty. Ability to lift and carry up to 100lbs. Must have a 'be of service' attitude.
