Clinical Educator

As part of the Nursing Staff Development Department, the Clinical Educator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, evaluating, and promoting patient, family, community, and staff education within the assigned directorate. This role involves setting educational goals, assessing learning needs, organizing in-service education, and acting as a clinical resource and preceptor for staff while maintaining ties to clinical practice.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred). At least 5 years of relevant Long Term Care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills. Must be proficient with MS Office 365 and electronic medical record. Additional certifications (e.g., CPR instructor, NICHE certification) are assets.
