We are looking for quality masons who demonstrate the ability to work to a high standard, efficiently both independently and with others on residential renovations and small commercial jobs. Since the majority of our work is in private homes, a Police Record Check is required, and qualified candidates will be drug tested. Responsibilities include building, repairing and maintaining structures such as walls, buildings, walkways, and other masonry as directed by the Supervisor. Required to install brick, Bermuda stone, other stone and cement. Expected to perform work to an excellent standard, plumb and level. Expected to use reasonable care in maintaining tools, machinery and equipment. Required to read and follow architectural plans and specifications. Required to specify needed materials. Expected to uphold the highest standard of professionalism in dealing with property owners, clients, Department of Planning Inspectors, and other employees and subcontractors. Expected to assist junior employees in learning the next level of their trades. May need to work without a labourer at times.

Requirements

Quality work references showing five years of recent masonry experience required. Own transportation, willingness to work overtime. Police Clearance certificate. Qualified candidates will be drug-tested.
