Full time Psychologist

We are seeking the services of a full time Psychologist whose primary responsibility will be to manage the intake process for all Reading Clinic neuro- and psycho-educational assessments, conduct diagnostic testing for children, and supervise a team of diagnosticians (psychologists and educational diagnosticians). Key responsibilities: * Respond to inquiries and conduct the intake process for Reading Clinic diagnostic assessments; * Conduct diagnostic testing (including cognitive, academic, and executive functioning); * Consult with families and schools on the best approaches and support for the child's learning profile based on diagnostic reports; * Work collaboratively with The Reading Clinic Programme Directors on specific cases; * Develop and maintain therapeutic support group services for families of and children with neuro-diverse needs (such as individual therapy or group sessions); * Provide workshops for tutors, families, teachers and the general public to support understanding of children with neurodiverse needs. This position requires a specialized level of education and candidates must: * Have a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology and be a registered Clinical Psychologist in Bermuda; * Be registered with the Bermuda Psychologist Council; * A minimum of 3-years' experience in educational or diagnostic testing; * A sound and practical knowledge of testing methods; conducting tests and interviews, analyzing results to understand strengths and challenges; and diagnoses of specific learning disorders; * Have a thorough knowledge of child development and theories of intelligence and cognition; * Be able to conceptualise and explain interactions between test results to various audiences (parents, teachers, and older students); * Be SCARS certified and have a recent Police check.
