EVENING/NIGHT ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER Mid-Atlantic Wellness Institute The Evening/Night Administrative Manager is the support person in planning. organizing, directing and coordinating optimal patient care within MWI, and as a resource person to other hospital departments. Key responsibilities include: ensuring the delivery of an interdisciplinary, coordinated approach to patient care, including supervising Nursing, Administrative, and Hospital Services on evenings, nights, holidays and weekend shifts ensuring processes are adhered to which minimize clinical, operational, financial, and human resources risk to patients, visitors, employees, and the organization acting as hospital management liaison to all internal departments, community and external clinical partners as needed to facilitate patient care receiving sick calls, informing units and/or Managers of special staffing needs, evaluating, facilitating and resolving staffing variances in a fiscally responsible manner Qualifications &/ Registration required: Bachelor's degree from an accredited programme (RN, AHS, Public Health Administration) At least three years or more of progressive management experience (either in a supervisory or functional area) Maintains current licensure and registration as required by the Bermuda Nurses Council and/or Allied Health Council Schedule: 35 hours per week. Participates in a shift rotation to include weekends and public holidays. CLINICAL PHARMACIST Pharmacy Department Key responsibilities include: Receiving, interpreting and evaluating all medication orders for patient specific drug-related problem, following established policies and procedures. Consulting with medical staff nursing as the need arises Dispensing narcotics and assisting with maintaining the perpetual inventory records Checking all manufacturing, packaging and dispensing of the technical staff Adhering to all IV Room policies and procedures (eg. preparation, storage, dispensing, cleaning schedule) including working knowledge of aseptic technique and the ability to prepare sterile IV products and chemotherapeutic agents Providing drug information to other healthcare professionals Qualifications & registration required: Graduate of a recognized School of Pharmacy with a post graduate clinical qualification UK recognized M Clin or US recognized Pharm. D. Clinical residency Minimum of two years of pharmacy experience in a similar hospital setting position Current registration with the Bermuda Pharmacy Council Pyxis knowledge advantageous Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications PHARMACIST Pharmacy Department (Mid Atlantic Wellness Institute) Key responsibilities include: Processes inpatient/outpatient and LOA medication orders following established policies and procedures. Consults with medical staff nursing as needed Adheres to all IV Room policies and procedures fe.g. storage, dispensing, cleaning schedule). Prepares and checks all IV requirements for inpatient and outpatient needs Provides liaison services to dest designated areas as directed by the C Pharmacist Coordinator. Performs profile checks and medication inspections. Participates in multidisciplinary rounds consults required Participates in departmental rotation of duties and responsibilities. Performs technical functions as the need arises Provides coverage for other BHB Pharmacies as needed Assists in the orientation of new staff Supervises Pharmacy Technicians Qualifications & Registration required: Graduate Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institute, with clinical certification (MClin, PharmD) Minimum of one year's post-grahaate experience, preferably in a hospital setting Current registration with the Bermuda Pharmacy Council Pyxis knowledge advantageous Experience with Microsoft Office Suite of applications
