CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

Job Type: Permanent

Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of safe patient care as well as maintaining ning operational oper aspects sof of staff and patient care in collaboration with other service areas for the Dietetics team in, Ensuring compliance with clinical and operational policies, procedures, and processes for staff providing patient care in the unit Supervise staff including conducting performance appraisals as required Making regular unit rounds to assess patient care and staff, accompanying physicians when appropriate Participating in the process for admissions, discharges and transfers Collaborate with other Supervisors, Assistant Unit Managers, Managers and other to resolve issues that cross departmental lines Bachelor or Master of Science from an accredited University with a major in Nutrition/Dietetics within a clinical hospital setting Must have at least three years' experience as a Clinical Dietitian Local registration to practice with the Council for Allied Health Professions (CAHP) and meet all re-registration requirements
