Occupational Therapist (Full-time & Locum)

Key Duties and Responsibilities include meeting productivity standards set by the department for direct patient contact and other related non-patient contact duties, performing assessments on all in and/or outpatients following referral, supervising and delegating specific written treatment plans, observing and evaluating treatment effects, maintaining patient documentation, and keeping accurate statistics of time spent.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required with certification, if applicable, in jurisdiction of training; 1 – 2 years post-graduate experience in a related Occupational Therapy environment, preferably within a hospital; Local registration to practice with the Council for Allied Health Professions (CAHP) and meet all re-registration requirements; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Flexibility and creativity; Ability to delegate and supervise assistants, aides, and students.
