Operations/Events Administrator

The Operations/Events Administrator is responsible for coordinating and supporting the operational activities of the organization, ensuring effective communication between office and industrial staff. This role involves managing administrative tasks, facilitating the flow of information, and supporting management initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency across departments. In addition to operational duties, the position also leads the planning and coordination of five signature events annually, working cross-functionally to ensure their successful delivery. The role also assumes responsibility as the Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO), overseeing compliance with relevant maritime security protocols.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Event Management, or a related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience — or 5 years’ equivalent work experience — in a similar role. Proven experience in an operations or administrative support position, ideally within a setting that involves both office and field-based work. Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and executing events, including managing vendors, venue logistics, and client or stakeholder engagement, is essential. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with diverse teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
