Bermuda Hospitals Board is hiring a BHB ensures the highest in quality health care through service excellence, education and leadership. We seek qualified, highly motivated, and experienced professionals to work in a supportive but demanding environment. Under the leadership of the Director HR Operations, the Manager HR Programs will be responsible for the design, administration and facilitation of HR Programs. Including BHB community outreach programs, Student Volunteer Services, Summer Student Work Placement Program, Scholarships, Sick Absence Management and Performance Management.
Key responsibilities include:
Leads the development and management of BHB's Performance Management System.
Monitors and review students/volunteers' performance ensuring they receive sufficient support to achieve their goals while adhering to a high standard of performance throughout BHB.
Monitors and analyses absence data across the organization and informs appropriate leadership when anomalies are found.
Leads, promotes and administers BHB's scholarship program, student work experience programs (including community services hours), and volunteer programs, including advertising, tracking, vetting of applications, and candidate selection.
Develops, and manages partnerships with external stakeholders, including businesses, the Bermuda College the Bermuda Government that support BHB's HR Programs and the community.
Attends and participate in community events while promoting careers in health care.
Manages and leads small team to support effective delivery of HR Programs.
Produce, update and maintain program budget, guidelines, manuals, training material, and metrics on services provided by the department.
Qualification, skills & experience requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or any other related field.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in the management or coordination of HR programs in an organization. A health care setting preferred.
Certificate in Human Resources Practice (Preferred).
Strong, decisive leadership and managerial skills.
Experience of working across different sectors and developing links with other agencies.
Experience in managing a budget with solid financial awareness and strong numerical background.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and within challenging deadlines.
Demonstrates excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making and organization skills.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or any other related field.
Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience in the management or coordination of HR programs in an organization. A health care setting preferred.
Certificate in Human Resources Practice (Preferred).
