We are seeking to recruit the following: JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Service MAKEUP ARTIST • Greet customer within 30 seconds upon their arrival- ask if they need assistance, if unable to assist customer at that time, ensure that someone will be there shortly. Provide welcoming, personal, professional and consistent service to all Customers at all times Ask questions, investigate preferences, listen to customer, and make the experience interactive. Suggest appropriate products and/or colors to meet and exceed customers' needs Assist customers with product/services selection and information Demonstrate effective communication skills, the well-executed and expedient application of makeup to achieve the look the Customer desires. Sample products as applicable. On closing the sale, thank the Customer, invite the Customer to a future visit and process the transaction through the POS system. Following and providing the example for Gibbons Company policies and procedures regarding customer service expectations, image and dress code and professional standards. Sales Meet your individual sales targets. Keep informed about products/company information/store information Actively participate in store theme days and events and new product launches Actively participate in MAC training sessions and partnered store mandatory training sessions. Maintaining Work Environment Actively participate in cleaning display units, tools, and testers throughout the day, and more thoroughly at night to prepare for next day's business Maintain a clean and organized work area, along with proper placement and condition of merchandise on counter, in stock room and maintained areas. Administrative Assistance Activities & Inventory Management Complete assigned projects such as twice weekly orders and preparation for inventory counts. Adhere to proper security procedures regarding handling of cash and assets. Assist in stocking of all counter supplies, proper rotation of stock and inventory on a daily basis as required Assist in merchandising/re-stocking all products on the floor in showcases/cabinets every morning, and as needed throughout the day, and communicate low on stock and out of stocks to Buyer JOB SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum Experience: At least two years of retail experience in selling fragrance, beauty and skin care products SKILLS AND ABILITIES Must demonstrate professional behavior; commitment; reliability and punctuality. Provide a high level of customer services. Excellent computer literacy skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel and Internet; Works closely with other team members to achieve department goals; must have excellent oral and written communication skills; Excellent Fragrance and Beauty knowledge with a strong desire to learn and grow is required.
