Our client, The Maldonado Family, require the services of a full-time live-in Private Tennis and Physical Conditioning Coach. Responsibilities include high performance coaching and physical training of two junior athletes. Hours will vary and successful candidate must be available to work monings, evenings, weekends and holidays when necessary. Responsiblities & Duties: • Design and implement detailed, personalized Annual Training Plans for a high-performance junior player. Conduct intensive, high-energy individual a training sessions focused on technical refinement, tactical patterns, and point construction. Provide expert on-court coaching during tournaments, including travel to USTA tournaments, ITF Junior events, and other international competitions. • Travel internationally with player, manage pre-match preparation, in-match coaching, post-match analysis. • Design and monitor tennis-specific fitness program focusing on speed, agility, power, and endurance. • Educate player on injury prevention, recovery protocols, nutrition, and hydration strategies critical for high-level competition. • Monitor player workload and well-being to prevent overtraining and burnout. Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with player and parents regarding progress, tournament schedules, and long-term goals. Availability to collaborate on a pro-bono basis with BLTA (Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association) and local tennis community on specific projects to be agreed. • Occasionally, and upon request, may deliver training sessions to athletes' parents to support family engagement and understanding of the sport. Qualifications & Skills: • Previous experience playing professional tennis ATP or Futures level. • Minimum of 5+ years of experience coaching at minimum at ITF World Tennis Tour Juniors or ITF World Tennis Tour level. Demonstrable track record of developing players who have eamed notable progression through junior careers including ITF Junior rankings, professional ATP/WTA rankings, etc.: Extensive experience with toumament travel to US, Latin America and Europe, on-site coaching, and navigating the junior international competition landscape. Exceptional ability to motivate, challenge, and build trust with highly-driven adolescent athlete. • Demonstrated connections with collegiate and professional coaching networks is preferred. • Must have a valid driver's license with a minimum 10-years driving experience required with a clean driving record, for work-related travel.
