Applied Psychology Assistant (L2-3)

The Applied Psychology Assistant role at Solstice is designed to support mature, energetic, proactive and responsible Master-level psychology graduates to pursue a career in applied psychology disciplines. These are training positions and each level is intended to be take 1 year to complete. The broad scope of the work includes: Client and Organisational Work: provide psychological support and interventions under supervision . Administrative Work: provide administrative support to enable the smooth running of the business and the different clinical programs. Community Work: Collaborate with community stakeholders Research and Evaluation: Identify, participate and conduct original research, audits and service evaluations to advance the field of psychology and improve service delivery Psychometric Evaluations: Perform psychometric evaluations and assessments under close supervision Prevention and Intervention • Report Writing: Prepare comprehensive reports under supervision. Minimum Qualifications and experience: Masters degree in Psychology or Applied Psychology PLUS Recognised qualifications in applied therapy skills such as Counselling, Lego Therapy, Play Therapy, Ecotherapy, Surf Therapy PLUS Qualifications in psychometric evaluation or assessment.
