Senior Electrical Technician

The Senior Electrical Technician must have at least 10 years work experience as an Electrician or a likely similar role in industrial, commercial and residential projects. Must have certificates related to Electrical education. Duties will include but are not limited to install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment; diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems; read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics; ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations for all projects; collaborate with other technicians and engineers to optimize electrical systems and equipment; and provide on the job training and guidance to junior technicians and apprentices. Must have knowledge about operation of various generator systems, fire alarm systems, security systems, building automations, motor controls and their maintenance. Must be physically fit and be willing to work overtime and during holidays and weekends as projects demand.
