Consultant Geriatrician (Full Time & Locums)

Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) strives to provide the highest in quality health care through service excellence, education and leadership. We are seeking qualified, highly motivated and skilled professionals to work in a supportive, but demanding environment. The ability to work harmoniously within a team of professionals is critical as we continue to improve patient care. BHB wishes to provide a comprehensive service for older Patients both in inpatient and outpatient settings, including and not limited to the assessment of older adults and appropriate young disabled Patients. The Post Holder(s) will rotate across Acute Geriatrics, Long Term care and Palliative Care to provide the range of services on a rotational basis with out-of-hours on call support provided on a 1:3 basis.

Requirements

Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Specialty Registration and training in Geriatric Medicine, Minimum of five (5) years of experience, four (4) of which should be exposure to Geriatric Services, Current registration with Medical Council in relevant jurisdiction, Eligible to register with Bermuda Medical Council.
