Deputy Director Bermuda Weather Service

As the Deputy Director, Bermuda Weather Service, you will be responsible for the oversight of the provision of both meteorological and NOTAM/Flight Plan administration products and services in support of aviation and airport requirements at the L.F. Wade International Airport. Responsible for the oversight of the provision of meteorological products and services in support of Bermuda's national weather services and to assist in the continued development of the Bermuda Weather Service as the National Meteorological and Hydrological Service (NMHS). These responsibilities will be carried out in accordance with ICAO, WMO, and local regulations and standards.

Requirements

A recognised Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant discipline, such as meteorology, with at least three and preferably five years of recent operational experience in meteorology. In lieu of a degree, applicants with at least eight years of operational experience in meteorology may be considered.
