Government House requires a dependable and hardworking Live-In Senior Housekeeper capable of delivering a high standard of service with responsibilities of training and some oversight of the live-in housekeeper and laundry assistant. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • Training of and some oversight of the live-in housekeeper and laundry assistant. • Cleaning duties of Government House including office space and the Governor's residential accommodation; • Assisting with the daily service of meals for the Governor, their family, and guests; • Assisting with serving at official lunches, dinner engagements, and/or receptions hosted by the Governor including clearing, cleaning and washing up; • Occasional food preparation; and • Occasional assistance with laundry; Interested parties must: • Be willing to work within a 40 hour week over a six day period; • Applicants should be in possession of a valid drivers license or be able to obtain one during probationary period; • Be willing to work split shifts, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required; • Have at least 5 years' experience in similar position in a silver-service environment. • Experience with training staff.
