Major League Barbershop is seeking a talented Barber to join our team. The applicant must be able to build and maintain a client base through good customer relations and be able to work as part of a team. Duties and Responsibilities: • Welcome clients and consult with them on their desired hairstyles. • Cut and style hair to the client's specifications. • Shave, trim, and shape clients' facial hair. • Maintain barbershop sanitation and health standards, including cleaning and disinfecting workstations. • Process client payments. • Sell haircare products and products for hair and scalp problems when applicable. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Barber Certification from a recognized institution required • Minimum 5 years' experience in cutting all hair types Required Competencies, Skills, and Abilities: • Must be able to use clippers, scissors, and razors • Knowledge of current hairstyles and trends • Knowledge of health and hygiene regulations • Exceptional customer service skills • Ability to work long hours and weekends as needed • The ability to stand for extended periods
