The Assistant - Security & Fire supports the delivery of security, fire safety, and parking operations across all Bermuda Hospitals Board (BHB) facilities. Key responsibilities include assisting with equipment inspections, fire drill coordination, incident investigation support, managing outsourced security contracts, and conducting security & fire assessments. The role also involves processing purchase orders, tracking balances for equipment, and ensuring consistent standards of safety, security, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Fire & Security or related field preferred; Completion of recognised Security Officer training; Training in Occupational Health & Safety and NFPA codes; At least five (5) years of progressive experience in security and/or fire safety. Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory.
