Vocational Coordinator

The post holder plans, implements and monitors vocational services for all three facilities (Co-educational Facility, Farm Facility and Westgate Correctional Facility) to enable inmates to obtain or improve marketable skills and their ability to obtain and maintain employment upon release. Responsibilities include conducting meetings, training staff, managing case assessments, and liaising with various organizations to assist clients within the Department. The post holder is accountable for administering vocational development services and programs which encompass career counselling, assessments, and training for inmates.

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years' experience in vocational training or a related post. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Vocational Education, Human Resources, Human Services or a related field. Possession of Psychometric Assessor Certification and NCCER/OSHA certification are advantageous. Must possess a valid Bermuda driver's license and have access to a car.
