The Reefs Beach Club is hiring a

Beach & Pools Supervisor

Job Type: Permanent

Supervise, train and inspect the performance of the Pool/Beach Staff, ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards. Assist where necessary at the beach to ensure optimum service to guests. Includes the planning, organizing and directing; carrying out programs and activities, that provide entertainment, intercommunication, exercise and relaxation. To be available to all guests and encourages participation. Previous supervisory experience is compulsory for this position.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications: Valid certification in first aid and C.P.R., 1 year experience in Pool/Beach and activity services. Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal. Provide legible communication. Compute basic mathematical calculations. Knowledge of pool equipment, chemicals and maintenance. Ability to enforce hotel's standards, policies and procedures with assigned staff, to prioritize and organize work assignments, to delegate work, to direct performance of assigned staff and follow up with corrections where needed, to motivate assigned staff and maintain a cohesive team, ascertain staff training needs and provide such training, be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgement, focus attention of details, perform job functions in outdoor environment with exposure to sun, high temperatures, wind and the ocean, exert physical effort in transporting/handling equipment and supplies. Previous supervisory experience is compulsory for this position.
