Qualified Accountant CA/CPA

Consolidated is looking for an applicant who will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting and management of a group of companies which are involved in a broad range of activities. The position calls for someone with broad experience in a wide range of industries but must include Insurance. Key Responsibilities will include: • Production of quarterly and annual financial statements • Co-ordinate the annual audit in cooperation with external auditors • Preparation and filing of statutory financial returns to the Bermuda Monetary Authority • Work with management, you will drive continual review and improvement of finance processes, internal controls and wider controls on the insurance related clients.

Requirements

The successful applicant will need to possess the following: • At least 2 years post qualification experience • Experience preparing financial statements and collaborating with clients and external auditors • External audit experience working on clients in the offshore insurance sector is a MUST • Knowledge of Insurance and Captive Insurance • A good knowledge of current IFRS Standards/Financial Reporting • Good communication skills to be able to liaise directly with international clients and other professionals.
