Team Leader

The Team Leader has overall responsibility of a team that is responsible for the management and accounting functions of a portfolio of clients that consists predominantly of commercial insurance entities, captives, reinsurance pools, and syndicates, as well as various client finance companies, investment partnerships and holding companies. Key Duties include overall responsibility for the team’s revenue budget, managing the negotiation of management fees, ensuring timely invoicing, supporting and coaching Client Executives, partnering with business development for new opportunities, overseeing new client implementations, guiding training and development for team members, and representing Marsh at industry events.

Requirements

An internationally recognized professional accounting designation, such as CA, ACCA, ACA or CPA or insurance and/or risk management qualification such as ACII, CPCU, CIRM. Minimum of 10 years’ recent captive management experience. Minimum of 10 years’ recent experience in Account Management and/or Client Services. Experience in financial reporting under GAAP and IFRS. Expert knowledge of investment and insurance accounting. Excellent knowledge of local regulations and procedures. Familiarity with captive policy structures and tax matters. Minimum of 5 years of recent supervisory or managerial experience.
